Terms of Service

These Terms govern Main Character, operated by Noumenon under the laws of the State of Florida. By using the site or buying a placement you agree to them.
1. What you buy
Every payment buys same-day featured placement on the site: your X handle, avatar, and one line appear on today's public board immediately, ranked by payment amount, and if you submit a project link it is also eligible for the free feature rail. The highest payment of the current day additionally holds the top "main character" seat. The day resets at midnight ET; the day's winner moves to the public Hall of Fame and their project is featured the following day. Placement is delivered in full at the moment of payment. Being outpaid later does not undo the placement you received, so payments are non-refundable, including when you are outbid, except where required by law. Placement is not an endorsement and carries no guarantee of reach.
2. Your content and rights
You represent that the X handle and line you submit are yours or that you are authorized to submit them, and that your line is lawful and not infringing, hateful, harassing, obscene, or deceptive. Your avatar is fetched from your public X profile at display time; we do not store the image. You grant us a license to display your submitted handle, avatar, and line on the site while your placement or Hall of Fame entry is shown.
3. Removal and moderation
We may remove or refuse any claim at our discretion, and we will act on good-faith removal requests to removals.outclean@noumenon-ai.com promptly. Removal does not entitle you to a refund except where required by law.
4. No affiliation
Main Character is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by X Corp. "X" marks belong to their owner.
5. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe on Stripe-hosted checkout. We never receive or store your full card details.
6. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Noumenon is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and total liability will not exceed the amount you paid in the prior 12 months. You will indemnify us against claims arising from content you submit or your misuse of the service.
